Bishop Julian Aguirre Jr. was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He grew up in a pastor’s home, as his father pastored for many years. Giving his life to Christ at the age of 25, Bishop Aguirre Jr. wasted no time and began a new life filled with service. Prior to becoming pastor of Apostolic Jubilee Center in 1975, Aguirre served as Northern District youth president, and National Youth Vice-President. At the age of 35 Bishop Aguirre heeded the call of the Lord and arrived in Modesto to assume the pastorship of Apostolic Jubilee Center. Over the past 32 years, Bishop Aguirre has done great things within his church. He is dedicated to reaching the community and sharing the love of Christ to all. In addition to serving as the pastor, Bishop Aguirre has served within the Apostolic Assembly. He has served as a district elder, secretary, and treasurer. For the past 16 years Aguirre has served as bishop within the Apostolic Assembly. Over the years he has ministered in conventions, camps, seminars, retreats, revivals, conferences, crusades and has traveled many times oversees to assist in the mission field. Bishop Aguirre is passionate about the things of the God, and seeks not after the title or the position, but seeks after the heart of God. Although he is well-known, Bishop Aguirre has remained humble and can truly be called a mighty man of God. Bishop Aguirre is married to First Lady Elizabeth Aguirre and they have two sons, Julian and Benjamin Aguirre and a daughter Cynthia Aguirre. In addition, they are the grandparents of five boys.
